PSIR Revision Batch 2027

Video revision lectures and PDF notes for the full PSIR Optional syllabus

The PSIR Revision Batch takes you through all four parts of the PSIR Optional syllabus (Paper 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B) in about 70 hours of video lectures. Every lecture comes with PDF notes you can download and print, so you revise from one set of material instead of collecting notes from many places.

What you get

• The batch gives you about 70 hours of video revision lectures that cover the complete syllabus of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
• Every topic carries the views of scholars, so your answer can open with a definition and close with a named thinker. The notes on political ideologies, for example, begin with the definitions of Martin Seliger, Andrew Heywood and David McLellan.
• The notes link theory to India, so a theory answer can end on an Indian example. Fabian socialism, for example, is traced to the Nehruvian model of socialism.
• The notes carry current affairs, such as the US tariffs on Indian goods in 2025 and India's defence cooperation with Russia.
• Faculty clear your doubts throughout the batch, and you get value addition material during Mains preparation.

Who should join

• Repeaters who have written Mains get sharper content and a fixed answer structure.
• Working professionals can finish the full syllabus in about 70 hours of lectures.
• Self-study aspirants who have gone through the standard books get one set of exam-ready notes and a clear order to revise in.
• Freshers get a second, faster round of all four papers.

Minal Negi (AIR 66), Sahil Meena (AIR 670) and Arpit Rituraj (AIR 875) prepared PSIR with PSIR Compass material.

You can see the notes before you buy. Download the free notes sample, which has pages from all four papers.
